Gillespie Public Adjusters, is a full service, licensed and bonded public adjusting company. We represent, You, the policyholder, exclusively. We specialize in the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of property loss settlements.

We are a fourth-generation, Family owned company, whose members have been representing the insurance consumer since the 1950's.

• ​Gordon Kirchner (1916-2002), the original adjuster in our family, started his career working for the insurance companies. He was recruited away by the largest Public Adjusting Company at the time, where he became a partner.
• Thomas Gillespie (1943-2011) followed the path of his father in law, Gordon. He began his career at the Greater American Insurance Co., and later became one of the most respected and sought after public adjusters in the industry.
• ​Todd Gillespie started the third generation of adjusters in the family and learned the business from the time he was a young man. Upon his graduation from the University of Maryland in 1986, he began his adjusting career. Thirty plus years later, he has continued his family's lineage and is recognized as one of the most talented and knowledgeable adjusters in the industry today. 
• Timothy Gillespie is also a third generation adjuster who grew up in the insurance world. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1989 and immediately joined the family business. Tim continues today as one of the leading adjusters in the area.
• Thomas Gillespie started the fourth generation of adjusters in the family. His time growing up around daily talk of the industry between family members helped him grow his interest and expertise for insurance from a young age. Thomas has worked as a public adjuster throughout his college career at Rutgers University, and upon his graduation in 2017 he joined the firm full time. Today, Thomas has already handled and settled numerous claims for our clients which have resulted in extremely favorable outcomes.

Gillespie Public Adjuster's home office is located in Wayne, New Jersey. From this location we are able to effectively service the entire New Jersey, New York metropolitan area. Gillespie Public Adjusters has built a solid reputation in it's field and is known as a firm that provides expert representation. We have established a proven track record with our clients and have gained the professional respect of the insurance community.

Our staff includes personnel qualified in adjusting, policy interpretation, building and construction estimating, contents and stock losses, fixture and equipment appraisal, and business interruption losses.
